Indeed to better understand our product characteristics, it is important to have in mind the right terminology to be used.
What is the recopy accuracy ?
It’s the difference between the displayed value and the real physical quantity which has been measured with external tools. It is expressed by + or – on the total displacement of the axis. Our recopy accuracies are given peak-to-peak per loaded axis. They can be expressed with RMS or peak to peak values.
What is the recopy resolution ?
It is directly given by a measurement tool, encoder, ruler which has to be 5 or 10 times of the recopy accuracy value. Resolutions are recommended according to tests to be performed.
What is mechanical backlash ?
It is given by all the drive train backlashes and is seen at reversal or in case of mass transport.
What is the result guarantee ?
